Once the garden of Roman Gaul, the Vaucluse is bathed in sunlight nearly all year long. And at 350 meters elevation, the vineyards of Domaine du Tix are blessed with hot days, cool nights and dewy mornings. The clay-and-limestone soil is ideal for traditional varieties of Rhone grape, including syrah, grenache, cinsault, and viognier. It is a demanding terroir that stimulates the vines. A demanding terroir that promotes full expression of the vine, our estate is worked by hand to produce exceptional fruits that, once vinified, never disappoint.
